About Karamoja Cluster Network for Peace and Development (KNCPD)

After a series of wide ranging and extensive consultations between peace resource organizations and donor agencies active within the Karamoja Cluster, a consensus was reached to establish the Karamoja Cluster Network for Peace and Development in 2005. Cordaid and Action Aid International - Uganda contributed to the preliminary Network building activities; and other organizations contributed in various other ways to the process which culminated in the development of a comprehensive regional project proposal. The project is funded by CORDAID, Practical Action Eastern Africa and Oxfam GB. Practical Action Eastern Africa is implementing the project.
